Designed to raise a smile!
Muggins Pottery is housed in an old barn in the Leicestershire countryside near the village of Cotes.
We pride ourselves in making and supplying high quality stoneware pottery to our own individual and unique designs. We've been creating for well over 40 years with the original ideas taking inspiration from the old English Toby Jugs.
We don't mass produce our pottery - every item has been hancrafted from the raw clay usually based on a thrown form. We fire in electric kilns and glaze using our own recipes. Just the two of us, Dan Moor and Sean Keefe create every design not being able to resist adding a touch of humour to our pieces.
Over the years we have built up quite a band of collectors, having date stamped from the early years, there are some rare and treasured items out there.
Exhibiting and selling at shows around the UK and, more so recently, reaching new customers with our website and Facebook Page we hope to continue for a few more years yet.
